Artist Statement:

This piece represents the process of aging as a female in our modern world. Every line and flake of rust tells a story of the journey she made, much like our own body. Our stretch marks and scars, a tale of our triumphs and tribulations and quite often the overcoming of challenges in mental health or just finding our meaning in life. For me the process of creating, plasma cutting and welding has helped me to find who I am at the core and to bring forward a voice for women and girls through this often male dominated domain.
